A shot plan can combine a consent-cleared atmosphere block with a controlled demonstration. Your studio confirms the timing and participating members.

Nobody's filmed who doesn't want to be.

  • Advance notice

    Members know the filming plan.

  • A no-film option

People who decline stay out of frame.

  • Written releases

    Anyone featured confirms participation.

Nobody's filmed who doesn't want to be.
  • Tell members ahead: a post and a sign at the door on the day, so nobody's surprised.
  • A no-film option: a spot in the room that stays out of frame, or a wristband that tells the crew "not me".
  • Releases for anyone featured: close-ups, interviews and anyone recognizable in an ad sign first.
  • No body-transformation claims unless they're true, documented and presented honestly, with typical results made clear.

Check music rights before filming.

The class playlist

Confirm its intended video-use rights.

A quiet block

Record useful coach speech and demos.

The edit

Agree a licensed business soundtrack.

Check music rights before filming.

Ask whether the class playlist is cleared for the intended business-video use. Permission to play it during a class does not establish the rights needed for a video. Plan a quiet block for coach speech and music-independent demonstrations, then agree the licensed soundtrack for the final edit.

Content that explains the class.

A hand rolls a yoga mat beside bare feet on a wood floor.
Class preparation, equipment and the pace of a session can each give a post a clear subject.

Questions from studios.

Scope, rights and timing, before the shoot.

Will filming disrupt the class?

A small crew and a planned shot list keep it light. We agree with the coach where we'll stand and when we'll move.

Can we use our class music?

Only when its license covers the intended use. We use music cleared for business use in the edit.

What about members who don't want to be filmed?

They stay out of frame. We plan a no-film zone or a simple signal, and we never feature anyone without a release.

Can we show member results?

Only with genuine evidence, the member's permission and reviewed wording. FTC endorsement guidance explains how result claims need context. We won't make up or exaggerate transformations.

When should we shoot?

A busy class for energy, plus a quiet hour for demos and coach interviews. A fixed monthly shoot date makes it easy to plan both.
